Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Hey y’all!
Hope you're having a good Monday wherever you may be at. It’s been a pretty solid week here for me.

Yesterday we actually went to the Catholic church with the person we are teaching.  It was all in Spanish and dang it was confusing! Haha. But it was good to go and support her, she really appreciated us supporting her. It strengthened my testimony of the great apostasy. We continued to read the Book of Mormon with them too and it’s goin so good.  We hit Jacob 5 the other day and that was a struggle, haha.  But they are doin really good.

I went on exchanges with the Assistants and I got to go back to Newport in the YSA ward. I got to see someone that got baptized while I was there. He’s doing super good.  He started a business and all this stuff, it was good to see him. We helped out with a wedding reception too that was sweet. There was a baptism in the YSA ward. She is awesome, and I got to play the guitar at her baptism too, it was a double bonus.

That’s it for this week.
Love y’all have a good one!

Pioneer Day Pie...

Short email this week.  We had some good things happen. We are still reading the Book of Mormon everyday with our investigators, and they are doing awesome. The members in the ward are awesome and are fellowshipping them so much. We read at a member’s house almost every night.

We had a 24th of July party on Saturday and it was sweet. They had country music and pie and all that good stuff. It was sweet.

Hope y'all have a great week!

Hey Y'all!

Man couldn't have asked for a better week here in San Clemente. Last Monday night we had dinner at our Stake President’s house (which is a mansion...literally) with our investigators and we challenged them to read the Book of Mormon every single day. They accepted. We went over Tuesday and they said they wanted us to come over every single day and read with them.  We were so pumped.

The next night we went to our WMLs (Ward Mission Leader) house and read with them and Claudia said she had an open mind about the gospel but not an open heart.  So I read D&C 8:2 with her and she loved it. So we are working on having an open heart.

We had dinner with them again on Friday, then went running Saturday morning with them, then went back and ate breakfast at their place.

It was such a good week. Hope you all have a great week!

Well, this week was a pretty good one. We had the rest of the 4th and that was amazing of course. We had the best seat in the house for the fireworks from the church.

I went on exchanges this week with an elder that is here waiting for his visa.  He's going to Cape Verde Africa. He's an awesome elder and taught me lots of things.

Our investigators dog had puppies this week so we went over to seem em and they are sweet, pure bred German Shepherd.

This week we I spoke in sacrament meeting and it went really well. I spoke about God’s love and the experiences I’ve had on my mission when I had felt God’s love. The other speaker was a priest that is leaving for Denmark this week, we are best buds, and he's going to be a great missionary.

That’s about it for this week.  Love ya, have a good one!
