Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Yo!
This week was pretty good here in Irvine.

On Monday last week I got to drive a 15 passenger van around, so that was cool.  I was truly living the Mormon life. We picked up some new investigators this week from knockin doors, so hopefully we can meet with them this week. We also got to go to the temple this week! Yahooooo! That’s always a good time. We also got to go to this thing the city of Irvine was doing called the Global Village Festival.  We had a little booth there, so that was pretty cool. We got a picture with a member from my last ward (Newport Coast YSA) that is on the UCI basketball team, and yes, the cheerleaders too. Lol.

That’s about it for me this week!
Love y’alll!

I got on Zach's case this week because of his, more than short, letter last week :0)  Here are a few of the things he mentioned in his letter home:

Sister Clark (Pres. Clark's wife) saw me riding my bike around yesterday and asked if there was anything we needed and I said peanut butter. So she's gonna get me some peanut butter (: She's awesome.

We are gonna watch Conference at the church, aka the Mission Office church.

Saturday was just lame cause people weren't too nice and everywhere we went tracting the Jdubs, and the Messianic Jews had already tracted that morning :0(

This is what happens when you put a bar of soap in the microwave.  Hmmmm.

A really, really short letter.

Yo Fam,

Another week gone! Time is flyin like crazy. Not a whole lot goin on down here in the new ward I'm in.  We are just knockin doors like crazy.  We picked up a couple potentials so hopefully we can capitalize on those!

That's all for this week, love y'all!

Best Contact of the Week!

Hey Y’all!

This week was an interesting one.  This was the second time in a row I’ve been white washed into an area, but it’s been good. My new comp is awesome. He’s from Brigham City and I love him.

The ward is pretty chill. I was expecting just a ton of old people but there are lots of young people too. We ride bikes all day everyday, and my butt is sooooo sore. It’s a whole different experience. Our teaching pool is pretty small but our goal this transfer is to tract the whole area, so hopefully we see some fruits from that.

The other night we were at a little "lake" in our area contacting people and there was this couple off the beaten path and they were doin who knows what.  So I decided that they needed a chance to hear the Restored Gospel, so I marched on over there and invited them to hear our message. They were soo awkward and sooo embarrassed.  The look on the dude’s face was priceless, caught red handed, lolol! Best contact of the week!

Hope y’all have a great week. Love ya!

Transfer Time

Transfer time September 6th, yo!

What a day for Transfers on my dear mother’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Mom! One year older and wiser too, right? So thankful for her, couldn’t do it without her.

I am gettin transferred, yay! I’m going to Irvine, and I’m going to be on a bike full time. It’s gonna be a riot.  My area is the size of a postage stamp, but we are gonna hit it hard. (Woodbridge 1st Ward)

This week me and my comp were both sick, so that was rough.  Not a whole lot happened.  We did some fishing out in our back yard and we caught some crawdads.

Sorry, not a whole lot to report on this week.

Love y’all have a good one!
