Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Hey Y'all!

Week was full of tender mercies! I got in touch with another recent convert from Mission Viejo that moved to San Clemente and that was amazing. I got a call Wednesday night from a different recent convert that was at youth conference in Utah and they all met my dad at the Church History Museum!

We picked up some new investigators this week. Then last night we had Alex Boye come and do a fireside for the mission. It was nuts. Sooo many people, but it was so good.  His conversion story is amazing.

I’m stayin in San Clemente for my last transfer and I couldn't be more excited.  Love it here, love the ward.

Hope y'all have a great week!

*Mom's note:  Zachary's new companion is Elder Varnell.  He didn't know anything else about him since he was picking him up later today.  I found a picture of him on the mission Facebook page.  Hopefully next week Zachary is full of info :0)

Hey Y'all!

This week has been crazy.  My new comp and I have been super busy covering 3 wards and it’s been awesome.

We got to teach a first discussion this week and it went so good! We helped our investigator move this weekend too and that was really good, and fun.  They are an awesome family.

We had a member in our ward teach us how to make Sushi this week which was probably the best dinner that I’ve ever had!

But the real miracle this week happened last night.  We got a random text from someone that said "hello elder crump".  I was like, what the heck who is this?? And it turned out to be someone that got baptized in my first area over a year and a half ago! I haven't seen her in forever. She saw missionaries and asked if they knew me and they said yes and gave her my number! It was so cool. We are going to meet with her later this week! So amazing to see how the Lord works!

Welp folks, that’s it for me this week.  Have a good one!

Crazy week full of ups and downs.

Crazy week, full of ups and downs.

Started off awesome. We got to teach our investigators and they are doing so good.  We taught them about the Plan, that’s my favorite. Then I got to have a 1 on 1 interview with Elder Cordón of the 70 when he came to visit for Zone Conference. He is the coolest guy. He’s really funny and down to earth but his knowledge of the scriptures is amazing.

Saturday morning I had to say bye to my comp.  That was sad, he’s my favorite.  We learned and grew so much together, but he’s on to great things, that’s for sure. We drove down to the San Diego airport with President so we drove right by the San Diego Temple and dang that is so cool!  After that we went to the Newport Temple to meet up with the rest of the missionaries. We helped our investigators move this week and we did tons of service too.

Hope y’all have a great week!

*Mom's note:  I will always testify that our Heavenly Father really is in the details of our lives.  Zachary has the very best mission president for him at this time.  Pres. Clark handled telling Zachary about my dad's passing in such a kind and tender way.  They had time together after they dropped Elder Te'o off at the airport.  Then there were more tender mercies.  One of Judd's aunts and her husband were at the Newport Beach Temple to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.  They introduced themselves to a group of missionaries and one of them happened to be Zachary and they made the connection.  A bit later one of Cami's companions from her mission to Argentina met Zachary.  They all sent pictures with him and it just warmed my heart to see his happy face on such a rough day.
He really is in the details :0)

Hello!

The week was good, kinda slow at the beginning but the end it picked back up. We had Elder Cordon of the 70 come down for stake conference and man he is so funny. He talked about reading the Book of Mormon everyday, talked about fasting and how it can help us, discipline in spiritual and physical matters, and talked about grace and how it’s for all. So it was super cool.

Then afterward we went and taught our investigators and afterward they told us they were moving into the apartment right above us! Crazy miracle!

A member had a huge party with all the BYU athletes and what not at his house, so we got to go and it was so fun.

Welp, that’s about it for the week. Love y’all.
