Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Not a lot of time today.  But this week was a good one.

The high school put on the show Mary Poppins and we took our investigator to it and it was sooo good.  Mary was played by someone in our ward and she was stellar.

We had another game night and dinner with the Starks and they are just doin awesome. Yesterday was amazing, we did a district fast for the people we were teaching and to find new people, and we had 4 new people that we never met come to church!  One is a marine and he hasn't been in awhile and his wife is a non-member.  But we had lunch after church at a members house and then we taught them and they are awesome! Looking forward to teaching them, plus he said we could go on base to see him! So cool.

That’s about all the time I have today.
Love y’all, have a good one!

Stellar Week

This week was stellar.

Started off with FHE in the park and we did an Easter Egg Hunt with the stake. It was nuts! So many little kids running around being crazy. It was fun though.

We had Zone Conference and it’s always good to see President and all the homies. On Saturday we got to go on a temple grounds tour with our investigators and President came too! While we were walking around the temple our investigator said that she wanted to be baptized! What the what? So that was a riot. Each time I’ve taken a temple tour with somebody they've gotten baptized.  Just goes to show you how powerful the temple is and how blessed we are to have one so close to us.

That night we went over to their house and we played games, it was sooo funny! We played this game where you put this thing on your mouth, it’s like the thing the dentist puts in your mouth to keep your mouth open, and you have to guess what your teammate is saying. Holy Cow I was rollin on the floor laughing my butt off!

Anywho, Easter was awesome.  We went to bishop’s house for dinner and just had a fantastic night. Christ lives.

Love y’all. Have a great week.

Awesome week!

Hello, Elder Crump here and another pday, feels like I was just doing this yesterday...

Anywho, this week was awesome! We had a couple of Zone meetings.  One was at the stake president’s house which is enormous, so it’s always a good time there. We got to help a lady with a move this week and it was crazy, she had soooo much stuff!

On Saturday we had Chris's baptism!! It was amazing, lots of support from the ward and the Spirit was there. President Clark came to support too, and that guy is the best ever. He stopped off at Albertsons on the way up and bought me some peanut butter and some bread? I haven't heard of a Mission President that does that except for this guy.  Stud!

Yesterday we had a lesson with a part member family, the Starks, and it went so good! We originally started teaching the 12 year old but yesterday we found out that the mom was reading the Book of Mormon and she gave up coffee cold turkey last week! We taught a lesson on the temple and Brother Stark said he wants to get sealed to his wife in the temple, and she wasn't opposed! So y’all know what that means! Yahooo! Cool to see the change in them since we first started teaching them until now.  That’s what the gospel does, changes people.

But that’s about it for me this week.  Hope you have a good one! Love ya

More San Clemente

Stayin another 6 weeks here in San Clemente! Excited about that.

Things in the ward are really good, just gotta work on finding new investigators. We got to teach a couple people and meet with our investigators.  It’s always good when you get to teach.

General Conference was solid. 2 of my favorite were Elder Nelson’s and Elder Uchtdorf’s. Nelson talked about learning about Christ so that way you could have his power in your life. Really good stuff there. Uchtdorf’s talk about motives was the other one that I really liked. I’ve done a lot of studying on motives and what were the motives of the people in the scriptures.  So that helped me out a lot.

Last night Elder Te'o sang at the Temple Music Devotional and he did awesome.  Bonus cause we got to walk around the temple after.

That’s about it for the week, nothing too crazy!
Love y'all have a good week!
