Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Many Miracles...

Howdy y’all!

This week has been an interesting one to say the least. The elders before us left us with pretty much nothing to do and nobody to teach, so we were just trying to go around and visit all the members in the ward.

We were on our way to meet our bishop on Wednesday and we get a call from some sister missionaries that are doing temple tours and they said there is a guy down there that wants to meet with us! So we buzz down there and meet Kentaro. He is about 6'4" and he is super nice and he just wanted to learn more. So we walked over to the temple and we sat down right there by the fountain and we taught him a lesson on the temple grounds, man was that was sweet. Then our bishop showed up and met him and talked to him a little bit. The next day we went over and taught him the Plan of Salvation, and he’s gonna get baptized on the 16th! Heck yes!! And he came to church yesterday so that was even better.

Church in the singles ward was interesting. We started sacrament 10 minutes late and we ended 10 minutes early. And the second hour we had a lesson on choosing the right person and engagement.  So ya know, I guess it’s never too early to start preparing?

Other cool news this week. On Tuesday President Orgill texted me and said that our investigator from my last area got permission from the First Presidency to be baptized!! So she is gonna get baptized on the 17th (Zach gets to go back to Mission Viejo to perform the baptism).  Man crazy miracles!

We see nice cars all over the place.  I’ve seen about 4 McLaren's, 8 Lamborghinis and tons of Ferraris, Bentleys, BMW i8s, and Audi r8s. They are everywhere. One of the members owns a Challenger Hellcat and he took us for a ride, so that was sweet.

One thing that is not a miracle is our dinner calendar...lol.  We have 2 dinner appointments for this transfer (that’s 6 weeks). I guess it’s the Lord’s way of makin’ me lose some weight. But....we do have a pond full of ducks in our backyard, so we may be havin’ duck this week...

Welp that's all I got. Have a great week y’all!
