Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Another week down!

It was a pretty awesome week here. Now that we got both wards we are super busy and always havin something to do. The new ward is awesome.

We got to go do service at the local Middle School and set up for the 8th grade end of school year dance they were having and that was lots of fun. We helped a couple people move this week too.

We have a baptism lined up for this Saturday, so we are stoked for that.

That’s about it for the week.
Love y’all have a great week!

Hello!

The week here was awesome. We picked up a new investigator this week, his name is Gil. He’s an old guy but he’s awesome. He said he has a desire to read the Book of Mormon, we are gonna meet with him later today. We taught the Starks this week and it was good, they are still on track.

We had transfers this week, and now we cover 2 wards, which will be nuts! It’ll keep us super busy though. That’s about it for this week. Not too much new, just chuggin along.

So good to see the fam yesterday, they are awesome. Shout out to my mom for being awesome, best mom out there.

Love ya lots. Have a great week!

Lovin this stuff...

Another killer week this week.

We had lots of teaching opportunities and what not. We taught the Marine twice this week but he bounced out to Columbia on vacation for 2 weeks. We taught about family history this week to the Starks and I’m always hesitant on that lesson cause it’s always been a bust lesson, but it went really, really well! We did it at the member’s home and they were awesome! Tender mercy.

We also picked up another family this week.  They are awesome. They are former investigators, but man they are the coolest and they have tons of member friends so it will be great to teach them! Miracles all around this week.

Other news, we helped a hoarder move, which was nasty but fun at the same time.  We found some pretty interesting things! Haha.

That’s all for this week. Love ya!

Holy Toledo...

Holy Toledo.

What a week it was indeed. Started off with interviews with the man, President Clark and with Sister Clark.  Hot dog are they the best!  They love all the missionaries and they will do anything for us. Sorry, but we got the best ones out there.

We were able to meet with both of our investigators this week.  The Marine and his wife are so amazing.  We got to go down on the Marine base to their house to teach them. It was one of the most spirit filled lessons I’ve ever been in. We brought a member with us and he was clutch, like he always is. And man the Spirit was flowing and so were the tears. We taught about enduring trials with faith and that’s what gets you through it. So good.  I was so happy for like 3 days straight afterward.

Then we had the Starks go to a baptism on Saturday after we had dinner with them and then we had dinner with them again on Sunday at a member's house and we played games and had a great time with them.

Today we had a Zone breakfast and I introduced the wonderful creation to them of PB&J sandwich pancakes.  They loved it, of course. Then to make things even better Pres. Clark took us out to lunch at Hapa J’s (a Hawaiian restaurant) and I got Man Fries! What a guy.

This week was just awesome, beautiful weather…we saw some dolphins as we were on our morning run down on the beach trail.  So blessed to be here.

Love y’all. Have a great week!
