Another week down here. It was a solid one with
lots of good stuff.
We had Stake Conference and the Saturday night
session was insane. One thing that really hit me like a ton of bricks what this
lady who spoke on "cut down humor".
Which is when you say something to be funny but at the expense of
"cutting" somebody down or saying something degrading. She was
intense and stared everyone down and said STOP IT NOW. So I was like, ‘Dang you
best be stoppin that, now’. So that’s something I’m going to be working on this
week.
We were knocking doors and we found a house full
of Marines this week. They were busy but said we could come back and so we
did. We talked to one of them for 45ish
minutes about Marines stuff and a bit of the gospel.
But this was probably the most life changing of
all, dinner last night :0) The mom was out so the dad was in charge. So he said to make a pb&j sandwich so I
did. He then took my sandwich and drenched it in pancake batter...and put it on
the skillet and cooked all 6 sides of the sandwich. It is literally a gift from
the gods. Changed my life and my waistline for sure last night.
Anywho, that's it for me this week!
Love y’all, until next week, peace.
