Alma 48:17

"Verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." - Alma 48:17

Merry Christmas!!

Since we Skyped with Zachary on Christmas Day he just sent some pictures on pday.  That's ok though because the time skyping was the best! I love seeing his happy face, laughing as he tells stories of his experiences and sharing in that missionary spirit!  These are the moments I will miss when he comes home and we have no more missionaries out serving.

Solid Week

Solid week this week.

We had lots of great things happen.  Our recent convert invited us over for lunch and then we taught her a lesson, it was awesome. One of our investigators that’s from Japan went back but he gave me his bike that he had been using so it was pretty much brand new.  That was a tender mercy because my bike was about on the way out.

The other day while we were poundin doors we were on the "fourth floor last door" except it wasn't on the fourth floor, but it was almost the last door.  Anywho, I gave the door approach and asked if we could share the message with him and he said yes, so I asked if we could come in and teach him right now and he said yes! So we went in and dun did taught him!!!! That’s the first time somebody has ever done that on my mission, miracles.

I listen to the Light the World video probably 10 times a day.  You could say I like it a lot. Keep serving those around you if you want to have the Christmas spirit.

Love y’all, have a good one.

Christmas in Full Swing...

Christmas stuff is in full swing here!

It’s been great with the Light the World video, all the members are just crazy over it and they are killin it!

We got to go teach the Activity Day girls this week and we taught them about service and shared the video with them and as we left they gave us a Christmas tree! It was a smaller one but it was a real one! It’s my first real one so I’m so stoked!!!! Yahooo!!!!

Also this week we went over to the lady that got baptized last week and we helped her go through all her boxes of stuff and organize and throw away things.  She has loads of stuff.

The sisters in the ward called us and told us that an old lady needed help moving a dresser so we went over to help her and come to find out it was more then a dresser...she had just gotten back from and estate sale around the block and she had bought all the furniture!!! So you could say we had lots of service opportunities this week.

That's it for me this week!

One for the books...

This week was one for the books.

Started off by visiting this old guy that lives in a trailer park home, and he reminds me of my Grandpa, old and grouchy (; He let us in and we talked with him and got to know him a little better and he’s actually really nice. We are going to go over this week and work in his shop he has in the back and make something cool.

On Wednesday I had the chance to interview 2 of the people that were getting baptized on Saturday.  Those are some of the most spiritual experiences I’ve had on my mission. Then the next day we went with President Clark and he interviewed the other person that also was getting baptized on Saturday. After we took a selfie with him in his car.

Then on Saturday we had the baptisms. One was at 1:00 and the others were at 5:00, so we spent all day at the church because they wouldn’t let us drain the water. But hey, it was worth it. The baptisms were awesome and they went perfect. It was a great way to end the week.

Love y’all have a great week!

"That shirt and tie thing"

Awesome week here in Irvine!

Started out good.  We did some service and it’s always good to do so you don’t have to wear that shirt and tie thing. We got to teach our investigators this week too and they are all ready to go for Saturday.  So that’s exciting news!

For Thanksgiving I went to a family’s house that I went to last year. It was so good to see them and all that jazz.  He smoked a turkey and holy cow that was the best turkey I’ve ever had! So good.

On Saturday we had a member text us and they wanted to take us out to Ruby's for lunch. They are an awesome family.  One of them reminds me a lot of my sister, so that was weird. The family is awesome though, always a good time hanging out with them.

Yesterday I gave a talk in sacrament meetin.  First time I’ve done that on the mission and it was fun.  I like doin that kinda stuff. Oh, and I ran over a goose on my bike the other day.  It was one heck of a speed bump!

Anywho, that’s all for me this week.
Love ya have a good one!
